Welcome! I’m so happy you’ve chosen Serenity Spa Cottage for your massage and self-care experience.

My goal is to provide a peaceful, private, and welcoming environment where you can slow down, let go of everyday stress, and focus on yourself. Whether this is your very first massage or you’re a regular spa guest, I want you to feel comfortable, respected, and cared for from the moment you arrive.

Your Arrival Instructions

When you arrive:

• Look for the Serenity Spa Cottage welcome sign near the mailbox.
• Pull into the driveway to the left of the house.
• There is no need to arrive early. I’ll be ready for you at your scheduled appointment time.
• Please text me when you arrive at 219-306-7938.
• Wait comfortably in your vehicle until I text you and wave you in from the porch. There is no indoor waiting area, so this helps ensure your privacy and allows me to prepare for your visit.

What Should I Wear?

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable when arriving for your appointment. You don’t need to dress up or do anything special beforehand.

For massage appointments, you will have privacy to undress to your comfort level and get situated on the massage table under the provided sheet and blanket.

Your comfort always comes first. You never need to remove more clothing than you feel comfortable removing. I will explain anything you need to know, and you are always welcome to ask questions.

A Note for Male Massage Clients

Men are absolutely welcome at Serenity Spa Cottage!

For your massage, you may keep your boxers or other underwear on. Clean, comfortable, well-fitting underwear is recommended or shorts are also ok. You do not need to feel awkward or unsure about what is expected.

Professional draping is used throughout the massage. A sheet or blanket will cover you, and only the area being worked on will be uncovered as needed. Your privacy and modesty are always respected.

My focus is on your comfort, relaxation, and therapeutic needs in a professional spa environment.

Before Your Massage

To help me personalize your session, please let me know about any areas of tension, injuries, health concerns, or pressure preferences that you would like me to consider.

You are encouraged to communicate throughout your appointment. If the pressure is too light or too firm, you’re too warm or too cool, or you need anything adjusted, please let me know.

There is no need to worry about saying the wrong thing. This is your time, and I want you to feel comfortable speaking up.

A few helpful reminders:

• Please silence your phone so you can fully enjoy your time to relax.
• Let me know about any relevant health changes before your session.
• If you have questions about your treatment, please ask. I’m happy to explain what to expect.
• If you need to reschedule, please contact me as soon as possible.

If you’re new to massage, it’s completely normal to feel a little nervous or unsure about what to expect.

You don’t need to know any special etiquette, and you don’t need to have the perfect words to explain what you’re feeling. I’ll guide you through the process and answer your questions along the way.
